Anywayzz...took a part in a 3hours speedmapping comp. today, my entry:

Oh, most of the models, textures etc. are from the community, i u recognize your work tell me, i'll add your name to the credits (or remove the thingy, if wanted)

As much as I love Wayne Knight, what does he have to do with the map?

Oh, and the fence makes me cry. I know you only have 3 hours to work on it, but surely it doesn't take long to align a texture and set it to "Solid - 255"?

Wayne has nothing to do with the map, the grin just makes me happy.

No, to align the fence takes like 2minutes, but i was already late from compiling the map and handing it out. Render mode is on texture, cause i didn't remember which one of them was the right one, and after compile i didn't have time to change it & recompile.

Phew...the idea wasn't to pimp the map like "ololo 1337", since the map (as the topic says) is not much. If you've ever tried speedmapping plz post some of your work, cause that is the idea of this thread.

Of course it could be better, that's ~1 hour of work if you know what you are building, but i was kinda waiting for some theme by the comp organizer and there wasn't a one.."shit, what can i map hmm". And that's how it goes, 15minutes building something that is doomed from the start, and then you'll just go "fuck it" and start building something wery plain and easy.

Now plz, post some of your speedmapping work or

I also took a part in the competition. It was quite interesting to map while having most horrible hungover.

I tried to make something for the 52h contest, but I only had some hours to make something. It ended up with a leak, which I later found, but on the next compile the lightning sucked and the time ran out.
