Would any of you kindly let me review any of your maps? I want to analyse them and maybe post the reviews up on my blog.

    I'll be harsh but fair.

haha, you want to get oldskool then feel free to rip into any of my TS maps.

It'd be kind of interesting to see someone point out all the flaws, even if they are rather old.

Do people play or make anything that isn't for source? Kinda not that exciting to make stuff for.

Actually I always viewed as source is where all the bloom noobs are

But sure, we can go with the cool thing.

Hrm not that awesome of a review.

It feels like copied and pasted comments from a forum, such as mapcore.

In your review you haven't mentioned anything about the flow of the map, or any gameplay related things it really saddens me that more and more people care about "brush work" than the gameplay, for all we know as readers, this could be the worlds most boring map ever known to man.

You need to write more about each area when doing a review like..

Gameplay, how is it structured, what makes the flow feel nice, are the weapon placements good, are the spawns in a good position etc etc.

Then you move onto the eyecandy, and you don't usually talk about a single metal trim on a staircase in the top part of the map.

You can also talk about the audio in the map if it exists, as this can play an important role, especially in a single player map - it can ad a lot of immersion.

If you're going over a single player map, you could also comment on how well the story is structured if it even exists

There are a few things you can think of when reviewing a map.

    Hope it helps!
