    Indeed. I mean as far as game releases go we've come a long a way very recently, but these kinda closed betas are still outta our reach. Not that I have any illusions about this, makes good sense since its so much easier to just do it in the US, just sad that you're surprised if its the other way around.

    Just played it a bit (Also got a round with H2O earlier, though he was much too busy to notice me ). Really dig, feels really tight. The weapons, map designs (jesus theres a lot of houses to enter! ) and just the general feel of the entire experience is just outstanding. To be honest then I'm almost more excited about the MP portion of COD4 now, really nice.

    Also the framerate is just sick, 60fps ftw!

    Downloaded it earlier and tried it out. Loved it, a bit hard at first though.

    The game got evil on me... fast. My team got crapped on because the other team had air support and a chopper flying around shooting everything to tits. But all in all, the 360's CoD 4 MP plays a lot better than the 360's CoD 3 MP.

    One thing I like about this beta as well, there are not as much kids playing using their headsets like in Gears of War. Probably because they can't figure out how to get in the beta. ^^

    Any Live users up for a round sometime?

    I'm definitely going to give it a spin in the weekend. I feel kinda dumb about getting MOH: Airbourne and Stranglehold now, this is so much better (and free!) :G

    I did not missed you Mazy ;D, but you got disonnected every now and then.

    One thing I don't like with the beta is when the host dissconnects the whole server shuts down, would be better if someone else get the host role like in COD3. The beta feels good altho its a completly diffrent from other COD where you can get 3 rounds and still stand. Its possitive tho cause people might work closer togheter or atleast not rush as much, but I want to try the chopper, DONT KILL ME DAMMIT!!!!!

    Yeah but its like that with a lot of 360 games. Shadowrun is especially annoying with this. It usually tries to put the server burden over on somebody else when the first guy quits, but it always ends up crashing the server. But I didn't have any problems with COD4 yesterday, but then again I probably haven't played as much as you (at least judging from the score you have on the leaderboards ).

    Well i'm definitely not ranked on the leaderboards, but my time with the beta has been generally positive. First reaction was "this reminds me of CoD2 MP on 360" but I liked that (ok i'm a bit biased whatever)....i know CoD2 and CoD4 are totally different settings and weapons etc...but something about it just takes me back to CoD2 mp.

    Anyway...it satisfies my console MP FPS itch pretty well. I don't expect huge changes between now and launch given they gotta RTM in October but it's definitely fun.

    I'm feeling like I'm going to have more fun with this than Halo3...but maybe that's the sour taste Halo2 left in my mouth compared to Halo1? Hard to make it very concrete because the Halo games are good products, no doubt...they just don't make me weak in the knees.

    so gj IW. Way to bust out of WWII.

    (Ahem...yeah i'm still gonna play both Halo3 and CoD4...)
