    Saving the Little Sisters is more fun I think, the rewards are good so far.

    I finished it a while ago

    Although I didn't rush and spent about 3 days playing on and off. Looking at levels and lighting they used. Bought it the day it came out.

    I am finding it to be more and more RPG like than FPS since I want to get every single tonic and all the radio messages

    <><>POSSIBLE MINOR SPOILERS <><>

    Completed it in 25-30 hours. Rescued all the Little sisters and got the good ending. Fantastic game, not sure what you meant about a dip before the end Mazy? My only complaint would be that it was sooo very like SS2 in its design. But that was only a minor niggle during the first couple of hours play. I soon got sucked into the atmosphere

    Likewise I thought the Big Daddies a little too easy to kill and the game in general a bit too easy. I played through it on the middle setting and reached the end with max health packs, max Eve syringes, full on most types of ammo and all plasmid/gene tonics maxxed. Couldn't find all the weapon upgrades though despite looking pretty much everywhere.

    Got about 750 of the achievement points and will probably get most of the others when I play through on the hardest setting.

    Picked it up for the Xbox last night and played for around 5 hours. Superb game so far, reminds me of SS2 in all the good ways. I love watching the Big Daddies/Little sisters wander around. Right now I'm only on the second level/enviroment, would probably have gotten further if I had played it on the PC since I'm absolutely shit at aiming with the xbox controller

    Anyone else find the aim assist on 360 was more of pain than a help? It tracks moving targets but always lags behind then meaning that your view gets dragged around, but you still can't hit them.

    Most annoying (turned it off).

    ::SPOILERS SPOILERS::

    ::SPOILERS SPOILERS::

    What I meant by a dip was the escort mission. Now its not the worst escort mission in a game ever, but then again I cant really remember a game where I actually enjoyed an escort mission. Maybe its just me, I donno. It's not like it was bad, I just think the entire game was a marvel in brilliant decisions and great design, and it definitely took down some of its appeal as a whole for me there (Which would otherwise have been totally absurdly high).

    Anyway, aye, I'm going through it on Hard as well, rescuing all the Little Sisters. I too missed like two weapon upgrade stations, so I'm thinking of finding a walkthrough since I just looked about everywhere and never saw those missing two . Also trying to get the tape recorders achievement, kinda doubt on that one tho

    You're right about the auto aim, but for the most part I didn't feel that it was a problem (shotgun ftw!)

    Aye shottie was my staple until I got the crossbow. Nothing more satisfying than 1 hit kill headshots at range

    Thanks for labeling the spoilers, if anyone spoils this for me I will send them a letterbomb

    Having said that, it'll be awhile before I can play it, need to get a new GPU and I don't have much money until I get a new job

    I just bought a 360 and Bioshock (+ Blue Dragon) today. Mainly since my x800 card wasn't able to run Bioshock (SM2.0b card).

    Loving the game so far, I was a bit skeptic at first if I really wanted to play Bioshock (or any shooter really) on a console. But the controller feels really smooth. I was adjusted to playing with it in under 5 minutes to be honest. I like how you can do the soft smooth movements using the analog stick. But also aim pretty fast at the same time.

    Quite happy with my expensive bunch of purchases today. ^^

    :: SYSTEM SHOCK 2 SPOILER ::

    Common, although the actual ending was shite, the part leading up to it was fuckin ace~having the game finally go all SS1 on you, more sequels should do that, mebbe

    :: BIOSHOCK SPOILER ::

    But yeah, I agree, when the entire game is this good, the end really has to be epic, and it almost seemed like they knew that and had just given up on it (I mean common, have you seen the "good" ending? Looks like something from a Japanese game ). Its pretty much the only thing thats really putting some doubt in my mind whether its a 10/10, which in the end is totally unfair when the game is overall this good

    I was pretty disappointed to find out it was Fontaine tweaking my knobs after all (SHODAN style in ss2, anyone?). I had a feeling Atlas was going to butt fuck me in the end, and I was right to assume after all. However, the way it was explained to you with the whole "Would you kindly" malarkey was stupendously brilliant in every way possible. I dunno, I was hoping for something different to the Fontaine thing I suppose... something more epic than just some asshat being an... asshat. I never really got Ryan either, he was just an ego maniac being targeted by Fontaine and ended up going nuts seeing his city crumble around him thanks to Fontaine, I'm assuming?

    Oh also, when you're told by Atlas he has a family etc and they're in the submarine, what was actually in there? Seeing as it was Fontaine I'm assuming it wasn't a family at all...

    SPOILER, OBVIOUSLY

    Yeah, I kinda expected more out of the Fontaine plot as well I guess. Especially since they already had the plot twist about halfway through the game, which kinda made me expect that they'd take it further the more I played it (And I wanted them to take it further). The entire thing with Ryan maybe wasn't explored quite enough either, the stuff with you being his son given away to some scientists was pretty well hidden (Something Irrational/2K Boston kinda want you to go outta your way to figure out).

    But yeah, the plot twist was definitely the high point of the experience for me, which is definitely not a bad place to peak, just forces you to think back on the entire game rather than have the ending wrap it up for ya

    'What's the matter lover? Don't you like my new... look..?'

    Apparently there was a proper longish ending all planned out but due to cutbacks they had to dump it and throw together a quick pre-rendered AVI :/
