Thought it might be more practical with a thread that doesn't focus on technical issues (pffft PC)

Just finished it. Brilliant game, but for me it somewhat lost some of its momentum just before the end (wont spoil anything, but game design wise I think they really made a huge mistake in the bit just before the end).

Also both endings are pretty high on "wtf".

The plot twist is pretty fucking amazing tho, best I've seen in a game yet (Better than KOTOR!). Gave me goosebumps, awesome!

Cool stuff. I downloaded the behind the scenes thing from the Limited Edition (Since it doesn't come with the Collectors Edition, gah). Should be good~

How long is the entire game? I'll be going to Spain on wednesday, but if it's not too long then maybe I can play through it by then.

Depends whether you're going to explore everything you come across to the tiniest detail. I did that for the most part, and it only too me about 22-25 hours. Also at one point I actually went back to replay an area for about 1 hour, so its kinda hard to say. But you can probably speed through it in about 15 hours, but wheres the fun in that?

True enough, people have ran through System Shock 2 in ~1 hour but I know I spent atleast 100 hours on that game. I'll go pick it up today, this can't wait until I get back

    God damn...

Too late now, I've seen some screens, and it's an oldddd game...

Even though, I'm playing DeusEx again, and It's not a "pretty" game either, but, oh well...

What does it matter how it looks? It's better than Deus Ex.

Not to start an entire discussion about that now, but Deus Ex > SS2 (imo, obviously ).

I havnt played SS2, but I partially redeem myself with multiple runs of Deux Ex.

I'm tempted to buy Bioshock...but I think I need an 8800 to enjoy it properly.

I run it fine on my X1900GT. It's a brilliant game and the relationship between the Big Daddies and the Little Sisters is cute somehow...I said somehow.

    ::SPOLIERISH KINDA MEBBE::

Its funny, in the beginning I did kinda saw what most reviews talked about, being that it was kinda hard to choose between harvesting and rescuing the Little Sisters. However once I harvested my first it just seemed to take a hold of me, and from there on out I only occasionally rescued them

    Mmmm ADAM

Also, I kinda wanted the Big Daddies to harder to kill, the fights were hyped up way too much. After your first 2 or so it just seemed like you would barely start fighting them before they died and I always kinda wanted the fights go on for a bit longer. Hope its more of a real challenge on Hard .

Oh and if you're actually having problems taking them out: Flame Thrower with Electric Gel can take them out in about 1 clip, and the resources to invent the gel ammo is very easy to come by

You should at least warn us, your gonna type a spoiler, before starting to tell us about that stuff... c'mon man....

Aye, my bad. I just cant help but talk about it, and noone has finished it but me

Its frustrating. That said, its not really a spoiler that'll change your experience of the game tbh, but I guess that isn't my choice to make that decision.

I leave the Big Daddies alone until I can get/buy enough EVE and First Aid Kits. D:

It's pretty interesting just to watch the relationship between the Big Daddy and the Little Sister.
