i just watched like 3 videos of it and i can honestly say it looks like the hottest game of all time.
the only problem is i only have a ps2 not an xbox and im sure almost all of those trailers were from the xbox version because the ps2 version is most likely going to be a low quality fest.

Nah, the PS2 handles it fine. It looks superb on either format.

Yup, criterion is a very ps2 orientated company, so both versions look almost the same (although the xbox version is superior in a few points)
Cant wait to get my hands on it, just a shame that I'll probably have to wait until Monday for it to arrive
