Yeah well, if people actually bother to report the crash and whats making it do it I can fix it.

The fact you said you heard "rumours" of a crash yet no-one bothers to contact me and tells me is annoying. I mean how the hell am I supposed to fix bugs I don't know about?

Anyway, as ifO told me what was he was doing that made it crash it made finding the bug easier. I've fixed it now and I'll post a fix soon.

dude i just told you what i heard. no need to get angry at me for that. i'd still also like if you could tell me whether or not this works in other window modes than 'pictures' or 'large icons'. i mostly use 'overview' modes for folders, and nothing shows up as an example (the " marks are because i use a danish version of windows, and i have no idea what the proper english/other translation is).

The images show up exactly how they would for any other supported image format.

    1. they show up in the main window if you are in 'thumbnail' view

    2. they show up in the 'details' bar on the left if you select one in any other view.

Glad to hear you could fix it Wunder, happy to be of help

First of I'm not angry - just frustrated. I try my best to test and capture as many bugs as I can but as a one man developer working with what little resources I have, I can't obviously test for all cases.

That said, onces my stuff is out in the field thats when bugs start to appear and naturally I'd like people to report them back to me. It a little disconcerting to hear that the word on the street is that it doesnt work and crashes and people are wary and put off using it. As I said, when people had these problems if they'd mailed me direct I could of solved them sooner.

As for the detail view problem - what OS are you using XP or Vista? The thumbnails in any view are generated by the same code in the same DLL so if you see the thumbnails in one view and not another something VERY strange is going on.

I've actually not tested them in other views, and can't at the moment (in the process of upgrading teh pc, sitting on laptop), but there is no icon for the .vtf files, nor is there anything showing in the details display bar. I am using XP.

as for the frustrational matter: it's not like I did a point and laugh, I merely pointed out a problem before it occured. if I were you, I would probably have looked out for that issue from the moment I heard about it, but I guess we do things differently. point in case: I didn't deserve a yelling for pointing out something before it happened. no hard feelings, just letting you know.

He wasn't actually yelling directly at you if you read what he read, he was just saying it was frustrating that noone had reported a bug, no need to be all defensive and 'you hurt my feelings'.

Perhaps show a screenshot of it not working because your description is not very clear?

OK. I've posted an updated version on my site (1.0.5.1) which should fix the bug where it crashes if you right click on a thumbnail.

You'll need to uninstall the old version before installing the update, but the installer will warn you about this.

I don't think so because wunderboys stuff is pretty common knowledge in the source community.

Thanks Latteh, thought that was the case. Unstickied it to free up some room.
