    You seem to know a lot about Christianity, that's cool

    I never even got around to read the bible, which is sad since I am Christian myself

    Although I must admit that I don't consider myself to be among the strongest believers. Nevertheless I think the bible should be common knowledge in the western world.

    I must ask you one question though, because I am very interested to hear your answer:

    Do you believe in the writings that you can find in the bible as man made metaphors that lay out a set of rules which, if everyone obeys them, improves humanity's life , or do you consider them as god given rules, including the whole heaven/hell thing?
