If you'r custom CS:S map if very good quality, both in graphical aspects but aswell, and very important, gameplay, it will be played!

And if you'r lucky to have you'r map played on the internet leagues and ladders, such as clanbase and ESL, you'll see you'r name all over the place.

So, why not? I don't think making custom CS:S maps is a waste a time.

Looks pretty cool, but I think it could use a bit more variety in the environment. Seems the only colours involved are that sort of bleached white stone and the (bright) green of the vegetation. The two-tone look is almost cartoonish -- if you subtly worked in some different colours it would maybe add a bit more depth to the environment.

    Looks nice though.

your site resizes my browser - you, sir, are an arse.

plus clicking link after link is for losers, i can live without seeing more than four pics.

well the pics are inside a gallery. you can go to the next image by simply using the navigational arrows.

or you can use a browser with tabs like firefox and click all links at once.

Looking forwards to playing this one. The first map was excellent fun especially for the zombie mod.

That's what I did and it still resized my browser every time a new tab opened.

Only thing that sticks out to me after a couple of games is that it's pretty easy to get your feet caught up on the rocks across the water. If you go straight across the ford you step up like on stairs, but most of the time if you try to walk across the rocks from the side you get clipped.

You can access the picture without any annoying resize:

    ...

    up to http://www.ingame.de/pics/22124.jpg

    About the map:

I found le lightning weird. I am unable to tell why, but it is weird. I do not have this feeling with any other D00ds' maps.

The B location is a bit dull, IMHO.

The lighting in some screenies is indeed a bit weird, maybe it's because it doesn't quite match up with the skybox or something.

Also some places seem very brightly lit even though there's no real sun / shadow effects. maybe that's it, i'm not sure.

other than that i think it looks cool, like the newage azzy style

this building looks weirdly lit, mabe it's just the angle

I personally loved both previous versions of this map, and so did our community. The gameplay on it was phenomenal. I don't really play CSS anymore, but this looks awesome, so I may be playing again.

    Keep up the good work.

Had a player lose the bomb tonight in between the blocks of the fallen pillars on T right side. Probably should be protected with a player clip.
