Slightly longer version than the one on xbox live and in lush HD

Looks fekking top, though Chris looks a bit OTT beefcake and some of the dialogue is cringeworthy.

I loved every minute of RE4, and given that this looks pretty much identical but with sexier graphics, I'm pretty damn excited. I hope they have more parts like the first time in the village - it was the against all odds, running around an open section of the environment bits (bit?) I loved the most. The trailer certainly makes it look like that is a big focus of this one

I loved RE4 but this looks a lot better. There seems to be more emphasis on hand-to-hand combat and I just love the way the camera shakes when you get attacked.

Yeah, I also liked the village part best. You really felt like you were in a derelicted eastern european village. Damn, the scene were you and Luiz were defending the house... just so awesome. I better play it again (or even buy it for Wii).

As for RE5, I really like the civil war theme in africa. Way better than any lab or any mansion.

Any words on a PC version?

Released without bugs and added mouse support, I hope so - otherwise I agree.

If you look hard enough it's actually there from the beginning. Not a bug.

Eh? About 2% of that looks like gameplay with non-existent transitions into cut-scenes. When it switches to him aiming his gun he still has that lame shuffle-y pivot.

When did we stop bitching that we weren't seeing actual gameplay?

This guy is pretty popular in RE5.

I think JamesL was slightly off the mark in labelling it a gameplay trailer, but as a traditional trailer it's fantastic.

We all know what Resident Evil is generally like and how it plays, and we all know the games have largely been top notch including RE4, so getting a good glimpse into the new environment the series is taking place in is far more interesting in my opinion.

That looks pretty damn good, nice to see Resident Evil trying something different (ok so RE4 is quite different to the others but this is a loooong way off from even that).
