HL2 tool question.

    Hi all, see a few familear names here from the old days! great site anyway i really hope the comunity here is good n stays that way "guess Ill find out soon enuf tho"

    Well i ant been mapping for like 2 years and want to get back into it, this may be a silly question but are the half life 2 mapping tools out? like the new hammer editor for HL2 and XSI,

    anyhelp would be great.

    ps.... sorry for my stupidity if am way off topic?

    thanks guys, guess ill have to use the current tools n convert them over at a later date, so whats the game editor of choice lately or has everyone stuck with halflife?

    worldcraft if you want to convert it to hl2. You probably don't have long to wait for the hl2 tools though.

    so the new cs is out! how long till we can map for it? anyone know. anyways ive seen an aztek ripoff doing the rounds on servers the other night !!! do you think the creator used the leaked hl to compile that or does he have the cs tools?

    any thoughts!

    leaked HL stuff.

    The HL2 SDK will be released when HL2 is released, that is what Valve said :roll:

    Yes, they said that. But they also said HL2 was gonna be done Sept. 30 of last year untill the last minute. I figure the tools will come out around the same time as the game if not a little later. Probably late November. You can do brushwork in Hammer now. Just read the other thread (Brush vs. Mesh) and Zaphod already explained what should be brushes and what should be meshes.
