well my only real problem with it is it shoul be 256x512 hombre
also... give those cut out pieces more depth... my suggestion is to make them slightly lighter than the other stuff... just kick em out a bit.

If I could spend more time on it I would refine it a little bit more . . . I think it fits the original pretty well though. 512x256 would be uber-skinny. The original is 128x80.

looks very cool zappy, but the this blue metal looks sorta very sharpening, dunno how to explain but looks a bit weird.

that aint too bad at all. Maybe some darker dirtyness to add some more contrast, but it's still way better then the original. good job
thats kind of a crappy tex to pick though in terms of real usablity, the original probably has now shadowing becuase it's going to wrap around a pipe. I'm not sure how practical these are meant to be though.

by the way, in case any of these are actually gonna get used, the texture scale is 4x, so a 128 x 128 hl1 texture would be a 512x512 hl2 texture. Also, only powers of 2 textures are valid.
