when this mod was in its baby shoes there was this really obnoxious annoying guy (who was the leader i guess ) who constantly wanted to recruit me was that this davidL ? well if he is gone i might contributed some props and textures.

Yeah we kicked davel out for that reason and now the mod is as healthy as ever.

Since the depart of Davel we want to keep our media releases to the minimum until we have something beefy to show, near release (which isn't far away).

The game itself in terms of code is almost complete, it just needs one or two new maps and we have waited until now before bringing on new mappers because we wanted to have the gameplay set in stone. Now is the right time to bring them on since we have the gameplay in place and now we just need a few good mappers/2d artists/3d artists who can take advantage of the gameplay and make a beautiful map.

We just recruited FMPONE, and he recommended I post in here to find new mappers who might be interested.

Robert Briscoe (http://www.littlelostpoly.co.uk) is still very much active, Satan got hired by Splash Damage and so had to leave, as did PhilK and Effekted.

Also Warby if you'd be interested in contributing some props and textures it'd be hugely appreciated, all the guys on the team know your work and how impressive it is.

We're also looking for a mapper who can use the japanese assets (as you know satan left before he could finish his map) and we have all these assets just sitting waiting to be used. If anyones interested in making a map based on these assets then that'd be a huge help as well.

Started making a map for it but enthusiasm and time quickly ran out....

I think Hessi was working on it too at one point.

You're less dependable than I could ever strive to be Rickchard

I hope thats a joke. Rick_D works hard and gets things done, especially for HI:PR.

    Good luck with ND.

Come on, didn't everyone else love getting pm'ed by DaveL just so he could wank all over your face for 20 minutes while attempting to disguise it as a two-way conversation?

"Oh so how is it going?"

"It's going ok, got this d.."

"That's great. Listen, we just got this guy, this guy and this guy and they're all from companies x, y and z. This guy got some award and wanted to join us. Blah blah blah blah. Here, have a little career advice: learn to model blahblahblah. Insert more patronising waffle and ignore the fact that I've never cut a line of code, made a map, prop or texture."

The ND guys obviously had tolerance in spades. I would've murdered him inside a week. He was like the mod equivalent of a middle manager. The only good thing he managed to do is recruit a bunch of talented guys. Best of luck to ND now that you're free of him because you have some awesome talent aboard.
