hitman movie trailer

awful, this looks sooo bad on so many levels. Every fourm out there has already explained why, I'm not even going to bother.
"Things I liked: the music. Things I could do without: all that text, those graphics and that baby-faced hitman. "
-
the music sucked. it's not even hitman style. i fucking digged the original soundtrack, especially the track at the menu (title track?)
-
The actors face lacks structure and age, the movie itself from the trailer looks rather average using a popular game's title - no surprise there. Hardly interests me.

farcry was a crap game
Get. Out.
Quote from buddy the designerthe chick is hot but a bit flat
Nothing wrong with small breasts

Yeah, 47 looks about 15 years younger than he does in the game, which is a bit odd. Other than that it looks alright, not exactly gonna be anything original though is it?

AHH thats the same rdone soundtrack by Jesper Kyd who composed all of the hitman soundtracks. I think it sounds great, its a redone version of one of the main themes from Silent Assassin. I'm sure the only thing good about the movie will be the soundtrack......Jesper Kyd is awesome!

-
That music was from Blood Money, the latest Hitman game.
Nice trailer, can't wait to see this!

-
it's cool
-
The song was ave maria by schubert, I don't think jesper kyd "redid" the song. But I'm glad they used it, it fit quite well with blood money.
-
I think there is to songs through the preview one by whoever you speak of and the other Jesper Kyd
-
all i can say is that the trailer music sucked, because that's all i've seen. if that first title song from hitman 1 was in the movie (very doubtful) i would atleast purchase the soundtrack.
-
nah, ave maria was played throughout the whole trailer. Don't want to be a stickler or anything but just thought I would say it.
Schubert is like up there with Mozart btw, surprised you haven't heard of him

-
Schubert? Not Bach?
-
Ummmm.. After having another listen it is different from the game version. They said Jesper Kyd is doing the music, so either its a remake or they used the original song you are talking about.. In the game there is a remake of this same song by Jesper Kyd. Meh I dont care anymore, movie looks really bad anyway.

1) I think the Hitman games could be made into a great movie. Sure, would take some creative story adaptation but with any good source IP (which Hitman generally is) you can make a good movie with a good writer and a good director etc. However...
2) Uwe Boll has made nothing but junk. I don't see how his treatment of Hitman will be different. It's a shame, really.
3) That trailer was bad, imo. It just felt so cliched...nothing really original or imaginative. Yeah he will kill evil..but honestly I HATE trailers with bullet points. This isn't powerpoint. I do powerpoint for clients when they ask but good God please do not sell me on another game or movie using bullet points in the trailer. if it needs bullet points to explain it it's usually not worth playing or seeing. Sure, the bullet points were minor, and integrated into the graphic design, but meh i hate cut up trailers like this...um...i'm ranting.
4) If Uwe Boll had any balls he'd show up at GDC and give a presentation to the crowd defending his work.
5) I personally got sick of Far Cry cause it was too long and I hated the voice acting in the First Person in that game. I have higher expectations for Crysis.
Conclusion: Hitman movie will probably go on my Netflix but I doubt I'll see in the theatre.
-
The Hitman film is nothing to do with Uwe Boll, just to clarify that.
-
Yeah I srota went off topic with my boll target.

-
-
Biggest disappointment of the trailer imo is to see that Mazy is not playing the hitman.
F'kin blasphemy
