Yeah this is difinately the ultimate TS version. My only complaint is that they didn't remove some of the crappiest maps, like ts_metro. That map is probably one of the worst looking maps ever and it also plays really bad.

Personally, I agree. I would have reduced the number of official maps.

Small mods can't really afford to be ruthless and cut out maps that many of the community love. 1 man's hated map is another man's favourite. I actually like metro, regardless of how shit it looks it plays quite well.

Schmung's maps look like shit but are designed for TS so they have nice big spaces and lots of stuntability whereas other sexier maps like 3d_mike's really aren't suited to TS in terms of gameplay.

Looking forward to giving this new ver a spin.

Exactly - the TS community is bitchy at best and much as some maps should be removed for the sake of sanity there community would have a shit fit.

I think it has been removed, although I don't really know what the official maps are anymore.

I'm pretty sure it was forgotten... why would they remove it ? It didn't played that well in TS but it was no worse than ts_metro. And it also looked a thousadn times better

I must say this. This mod was awesome. Then they did the most horrible thing imaginable, and balanced it.

I almost always played this game with raging bull, katana and ruger. Sometimes I liked to use sawed off or barret. Why? Because these were different. The pistols are total opposites, and katana was there because there are no katanas in other games. And it was fun to play, because it was hard to kill 3 or more players fast, because RB was such challenging to control. Sure it was easy to kill a single guy, just as it is easy to spray any other pistol into a group and kill many. But it was hard to shoot 5 bullets and kill five guys, and that was fun. But no.

Then they thought "well g.. they say RB is bad because it kill with one shot almost always.. let's make it weaker" and made some other weapons better. Now there's just no fucking point. There's a stupid kevlar, and now you sometimes have to score 3 hits to kill. Oh shi... RB is not fun anymore.. Well.. Let's add a new gun.. that kills with a single shot almost always... Wait whats going on here?

Everybody seems to be running around with a g20 or some other killyourmouse weapon, hammering away. It doesn't matter what pistol you choose, because they're all the same. All the guns have big clips and take about the same amount of hits to kill. There's just no finesse left whatsoever.

I'm really disappointed how every fucking game there is has to be made as easy to play with every single fucking way of playing it. First they fucked CS. Then they had to fuck DOD. Now you guys have done the same for TS.

"Boo hoo that gun is bad it's so easy to kill"

"well... why don't you use it?"

"...I CANT cause i'm a stupid fuckface and can't aim and i have never had to learn anything.."

"there there.. we'll just balance it so there's no challenge whatsoever and everybody is happy right?"
