Agreed, but comparing hitler with Bush isn't quite right in my eyes also.

Allthough I'll assume that it wasn't your intention to offend the republicans..

the point is: the movie "der untergang" is a sad movie showing a more human component of what happened beyond the NS regime. of course they did a lot of evil things, but this is one of the most serious scenes of the movie. adolf hitler says he knows that the war is lost. that is the sentence noone was allowed to say under the nazi regime. now that millions of people have died he, the führer, claims the war lost!

now some fat kiddo makes a stupid joke of how "finished" adolf hitler was. well. if you like it, fine to you. i don't though i don't stand behind hitler/NS/NSDAP or other nazi related groups/persons.

i dont have anything else to say here.

You're taking it too serious hessi. I don't think author is trying to make a stupid joke of "how finished adolf hitler was", instead, the whole joke is about these characters saying something that they would never did, there is a lot of this type of movies where you can find a part of known film with subtitles that totaly miss the movie's original dialogues. This movie's scene perfectly matches hilarious "hitler's live account was banned" story.

However i can understand your point there.

I found this movie funny, I don't know German language one bit so I could only focus on what I could see and read (their voice didn't mean much to me other than the expression they've given).

It's funny because I don't understand a single thing they are saying and the author is applying some subtitles to make it humorous.

I don't agree because you say ''the furher''. He was a seriously mentally ill, psychotic and neurotic man who was inspired by evil. I don't even spell his name with capitals. In my eyes, he should NEVER be remembered with ANY respect. Millions of people have died. Because of what? Because of who? And you're having problems with a simple satire (wich I thaught wasn't even that funny)?

I beieve you when you say you don't symphathise with any hitler/NS/NSDAP or other nazi related groups but this behavior strikes me as pretty unhealthy too..

That's what I have to say about this.

Anyhow, to add to my earlier post: allthough I didn't find the clip all that great, I do think it's original.

Hessi, you need to realize most people here don't understand a single thing that's said. The funny aspect of it is how the intonation of what's said can fit with the subtitles. End of story

I wish people would stop getting offended by things for the sake of it.

Which is why sites like BombayTV was born, where you enter your own subtitles to a hard-to-understand language.

Fanta also did that some years back in an online advertising plan, for the launch of Fanta Shokata in Denmark (at least it was a dk site) with Bollywood movies.

I liked the car one better, but I'm more of a car buff than a computer nerd...

Hessi, you missed the point by 7½ miles or more. The only thing left about Hitler in that film is the way he shouts out words and the image of him in our minds, the fanatic, perhaps mad leader. The joke is that people can't understand what he is saying, but the expressions and the tone of voice can be utilized.

I was thinking that must have come from something awful on one of their little comedy coldmine things, ie. somebody posts a video and tells people to add subtitles like that. While watching I started thinking about a scene where Hitler is being told that he can't go to Churchills birthday party because he's been naughty.

I lol'ed at "FUCK THE FUCKING BOWLING GAME!". Almost as funny as Hitler making a swastika out of game boxes then saying "Ach, try it yourself!".
