So this would go in 2d art... but its a far more interesting topic than that. As i'm [for the first time] putting one of my screenplays online. I didn't want it to die (after I was so UNFAIRLY borked out of project greenlight... which is a different story.) So I did a cool little movie poster, took like two hours.

The link to the screenplay is, its a full length so it should take you like an hour to read if you're willing. Hopefully this will give you more of an idea as to why I moved into the realm of full time writer. Oh and before anyone asks "what if somebody steals it?" You cant. It's registered through the WGA and is copyrighted.

and the poster, i'm sorry if your name sorta randomly appears on it. i just wanted to fill up the space with names that couldn't sue me.

    enjoy.

    yeah, what madcow said...

id also like to add that i really liked the start too, very.. cool

BUT, towards the middle and end, it all gets very predictable :/ but all in all, a very nice movie.. alot better than many ive seen...

i dont know what you could've done to change the predictableness, but maybe its just me beeing a noob Dont take me seriously

well their voting system is based on three scores they pull at random from all the scores you got. All scores are from other people in the contest. Anyway I got a perfect score and like five REALLY high ones, and one low, and one ZERO. Now i'm not chill to the rules, but if you're judging a contest and you get a screenplay, and you "don't get it" DONT SUBMIT A VOTE. Anyway, they pull scores at random, so that zero and that low score went in, not my perfect or my high ones...

so i got knocked first round on a technicality of a crappy contest.

    they should fix that.

I will probably take a further read later too, but something which caught my eye was the phone ringing after the girl woke up. That sounds like the thousands of other movies with characters waking up, seeing a mess in the room and then in perfect timing the parents call. The girl could be woken up by the phone, or need some time to find the phone in the big mess.

    Just a suggestion

The Project Greenlight system sounds pretty fucking harsh, especially considering the effort you've sunk into this script.

From what I've read, it sounds good. Reminds me of Michael Mann's Heat; a definite good thing!

mike is it the same version i read a few months ago? it was a good script with a lot of potential...not to mention it would be relatively cheap to make. bummer on project greenlight.
