Well, I've been beta-testing this for a long time but this release really nails it. If you happen to get in to a teamplay server, that's what INS is really about.

    Awesome

edit: oh and background musics are soooo awesome.

There is a torrent on piratebay. It's on top 100 PC games atleast. Works great. I had 400+kbs and I'll be seeding for a long time

This mod is great except for the overdone shellshock effect.

Oh the cruelty - 95% and for some reason the download speed has dropped to 0.0kbps. I left it for a while, then tried pausing and unpausing, but it's having none of it. Looks like it might be back to the start for me Ah well, I wasn't gonna be playing it tonight anyway I suppose...

The first exe i downloaded didn't work for me either, so I tried the torrent from http://%7boption%7d and it worked great.

When I first started the mod I was greeted with a very nice background and menu, but what really caught my attention was the music. It was really good

Then I browsed some servers (there were plenty, nice) and joined one with push gameplay. When it was loading the music was still playing, very nice. When the loading was complete I had to choose a playerslot (?) and I picked an rpg guy, but I got no rpg.. Also later when I tried changing class i just died when i changed instead of waiting for the next round or death to change class..

The first thing I noticed when I spawned was the incredibly open and beautiful map. Then I died. Spawned, died... spawned - died.. spawned -> sprinted to a near wall - died. I changed the server

Well, after playing it for half an hour I must say Im very impressed, its a very decent mod.. sadly its not for me, ironsights + high recoil and only beeing able to take 1 or 2 shots isn't the game for me :/ I'm not saying I want another CS, it just would be great beeing able to recieve fire without dying just once Makes it really hard to have fun firefights since you either just die really quickly, or kill your opponent really quickly. Anyways, thats just my 2 cents..

PS: It reminds me very much of the GRAW2 multiplayer demo, except I could run it.

I'm in the same boat as Mr. Skjalg. The maps and all the art look great, but this kind of gameplay isn't for me at all. An idea that you've probably heard before: throw out all this silly realism and make an arcade mode for the rest of us.

i really like the level design of the maps and how well it plays. Being a sniper hasn't been this much fun in ages. I only wish that you could hold your breath while aiming. I also noticed that in the distance with the sniper you can see peoples shadows through the walls, which helps me pick off targets

Great mod! congrats on the release! New game to play on the pc!

My sincere congratulations to Insurgency team, this is an awesome first release. I'm also very glad for your success, seems lot of new people are installing a Source mod for first time and that's great for our community.

I've been playing a bit and the combat is very well executed, some things to polish, but the overall is very good. However, I think the game play aspect is very conservative, that push style game play reminds me a lot to DOD, plus the usual classes to choose from. Also there are some performance issues in Baghdad map, usually around 30 fps with a decent computer. Anyway, very GJ!
