Insurgency Trailer Release & Website Launch

One word: Brilliant!~
-
Looks awesome but i want GoW style cover system
How does the gameplay compare to Red Orchestra? looks kinda like a mix between RO and CS. -
I'll be giving this one a go once released but I really doubt I'll ever stick to it. The only online game I actually ever play is Hostile Intent, because I can't stand run and gun gameplay which I feel this will end up. I like to take things slow and tatical. Can't judge yet though.

Somehow the trailer seemed very pro americans too me but that's another discussion

Looking awesome graphical and gameplay wise.
Did anyone of your gameplay-coders/designers play Move In! for Half-Life?

Good job

Why am I not on the contributor list?

Read the forums you lazy bastard

I think the trailer only tells the story, but it could have been:
"IN 2003, USA INVADED IRAQ, TO TAKE THEIR OIL AND MESS UP THEIR COUNTRY.
THE INSURGENTS DIDN'T LIKE THIS AND NOW, AN UNKNOWN NUMBER OF INSURGENTS AND TERRORISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD JOIN FORCES TO CRUSH THE INVASION!!!!!!!!"

-
The name, the logo, "not welcomed as liberators but as invaders". Show me the pro americanism. I cant find it. Both teams are pretty equal presented.
-
Wow here comes politics!
-
Looks ~neato, as always!
You wont have any driveable vehicles, or have i heard wrong?Like few others - this sentence kinda made me mad, "300,000 american troops not greeted as liberators but as invaders". Maybe the words could've been chosen differently or maybe i misunderstood it, to me it sounds like some bitter american wrote it

-
I don't think politics will matter once it comes down to ppl playing it for map bias and weapons.
And frankly I found the 'not welcomed as liberators...etc' to be totally lol. Just because it gives that side of the americans pre-war, and still hands out the idea that somehow allowing tribal factions the freedom to fight each other again, but this time with evil westerners as targets too, was a noble and brave move.
If I wanted politics in a game I would play a game dedicated to it, liek that one game, that kind sucked, but didn't. INS has nice artwork, weird animations, and pretty maps. But it looks like it'll be a blend of CS, BF2, AA and *maybe* a little RO. Whether that will prove to be a good thing or not is questionable until we play it. Some nice ideas in there though, nothing fantastically new or awe-inspiring, but should combine to make a stable gameplay experience.
You guys got any idea how the clans will be playing the game yet?
-
jesus people will be like DE DUST PLZ WTF NOOB in mapvotes
however if it is as good as fsw ill check it out
-
So still the question: Do some of you guys play Move In!?
-
I have Move In! installed at the moment. I look at their maps for reference sometimes
Poor doomed mod, I'm not aware anyone ever 'played' Move In! for more than a week
Yeah INS reminds me of it a bit.
-
Never played it or heard of it before. According to their site its a special forces mod. Insurgency is about infantry combat.
-
Move In always looked great but I never played it tbh.
-
-
I worked on Move IN!, now working on ins and it's a totally different mod.
