i cant beleive noone has mentioned it yet... Mafia

that game had the most awesome music ever, with the exception of the song played over the credits, it did the game no justice

also Interstate '76 had awesome music

Final Fantasy 7 and 8 have really good music, i have the OSTs to those, and some orchestrated recordings, and some of the overclock remixes are really good too

    GTA3? Hellooo?

That game comes with a variety of radio stations which play a whole lot of different songs and some of them are really good ("Joyride" anyone? ).

Ok, as for classical more video-game orientated soundtracks (instead of music which could actually play on your radio) C&C, Zelda etc. are pretty good.

Yeah, almost forgot about Mafia. That game had the most fantastic action/thriller music piece. If only I could find somewhere to get it...

Medal of Honor (all MOH games in general), Outcast, Vice City (all GTA games in general), BFV, MGS2 and Freedom Fighters r some of the best i can think of

Also Shenmue has a really amazing orchestral soundtrack, but they didnt use it (much) in the game. No idea why, was alot better than the silly midi'ish music they used in most of the game D:

No, no. In Luca there's a place where you can purchase movie/music spheres of any movies/music you've seen/head. Although it may be possible it's not open on your first visit.

Well, DEFINITELY the Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII in particular.

Those weren't just games, they we like life experiences. Totally mind blowing stuff, SquareSoft owns. Did have he OST's but deleted them ... piracy.

I like Half-Life music too, suited the game, worked well within the game, added loads for atmostphere and ambience. Gave Half-Life that clinical lab feel. Also at the end, when the credits scroll that music was so perfect, made finally beating the game so satisfying. Like it was all finally over ... for now.

Diablo has really cool music too. 1 and II.

the best song overall for me was in FF7 where you go into the highwind (the airship) and that like cheery music plays

makes you feel like you're king of the fantasy world D:!
