hosting the map

    I want to host my map somewhere, so I can link directly to the zip archive for easy downloading. Does anyone know where I can host it so I can do this?

    get your self some webspace for a couple of bucks. for like 5$/month you get what you need and you can be sure there is no adds etc.

    i dont know any free hosters that allow hotlinking. i like the way lanmaniax.com is making alternate mirrors.

    Depends on how big the map is I guess. 100 mb/upload over at rapidshare w/o an account for a couple months if no one downloads. If people continue to download it it will stay there for a long time.
