my first map

    This is a map for Half-Life mod "The Specialist"

    This is my first go at making a map...

    There is a hallway that runs all along the outside of the octagon, then in the middle there will be something (not sure yet) and as well, there is a pit under it, dunno what i'm gonna do there either.

    What these lovely gentlemen are trying to say is, do some tutorials and learn a bit more, but most importantly don't give up when you get the piss ripped out of you on mapcore.

    Looks very similar to my first map

    in the pit, perhaps you could add some support beams for the platforms above, also, change the tile texture so it is only on the top of the platform, not all around it..

    keep trying, you are off to a good start

    dont take the other users comments on here to heart, they just cant handle that they used to make maps that sucked really badly, so they have to rip into new people

    It's (obviously) not the actual texturing. Just a layout so I can see what it looks like.
