Am I the only one who isn't in the slightest bit impressed with those videos?

Some nice graphic effects in places but the gameplay looks about as boring as you can get.

The most entertaining aspect of those videos was the Koreans making noises, especially the teleporting robots, man I laughed so hard I almost split my jeans.

    GG!

Actually doesn't look too exciting, but RTS's generally don't until it's your guys being shot at. The cinematic movie made me so horny though.

I think you have to be an rts fan to be excited. I am not so I .. am not.

Some of the art stuff is nice though. The engine looks pretty funky too.

Only if you played SC1 you'll understand how exciting this is!

What Blizzard and Starcraft are known for, Ridiculously amazing cinematic's, and they sure brought them back ")

Gameplay from the videos looks to have a lot of cool new features. In-Game art style didn't please me so much. Effects lok hot though, especially those nukes.

The Zerg look freaking sweet, how they can swarm together in masses and just annihilate the opponent.

I will be buying this one for sure though.

Seems to stay very close to the original, which imo is quite the best praise you can give them.

I'm strangely not excited, maybe after a c&c3, a fallout 3 and a sc2, we will finally kill our idols.

Looks like a good time, and thats all I care about. I dont think blizzard has ever done anything super revolutionary, so its unfair to expect SC2 to be so. This looks faithful to the old one, I remember how much fun the old one is, superb job.

hey yeah! lets go buy the same game with new graphics. it'll be so worth it

honestly, it doesnt look like it's changed one bit from the gameplay trailers and screenshots

Even by your own admission its more than that - its got new units too I honestly just don't see why people would have a problem with a modern overhaul of the game. Do you really begrudge buying an update almost 10 years after the original game came out? It's like not buying new curtains because your 15 year old, moth-eaten, sun-faded ones still block line of sight to the outside world.

And seriously, do you think we can judge the entire game on screenshots and some trailers? It looks like an RTS with base building, unit construction, and rock-paper-scissors balancing. How unexpected? I can't help but feel you're jumping to conclusions a little early, perhaps due to the 'familiarity' of the HUD as much as anything else.

yeah sadly this 'it doesn't matter we're lemmings who settle for anything' mentality of the audience is what drives the games industry into an uninspired mess that it is of today.

just like TF2 is removing grenades. BUT NO ONE CARES COS IT LOOKS CARTOONY AND COOL AND VALVE DID IT ! lol. and the press always takes such things as the next coming of jesus

everything i say is my opinion

you don't have to take it personally or anything

i just say what impression the game made on me

of course i havent seen the game yet but from what ive read and seen, it does look like the old sc.

i dont mind if they would overhaul the whole game, but sell it as a new one? no thanks. i think the term for one of these is "money hog".
