Ugh. No more MMO's they're as common as WW2 shooters and as boring.

Well...I would expect they're working on a WOW for 360/PS3 type project.

I have no clue where people would ever get the idea that this was or is ever going to happen. Blizzard doesn't do console games anymore

Yes...my mistake. You are correct, sir. :chap: World of Starcraft sounds like it's gonna be it.

Things that made wow get the subscribers they have:

    - The hype it generated.

    - The hype blizzard gets anyway.

    - Ability to buy prepaid cards what made it better accessable outside the US. People generally don't have credit cards in europe and when they have, don't trust is so much online, for DAOC I paid the subscriptions for 5-6 people ...

    - Newbie friendlyness.

The endgame is not better then any other mmo out there so calling WOW a better game is something I disagree with, its sure is a more succesfull game, but for a large part that is not the effect of being a better game.

I think i remember reading somewhere that they are thinking about making an MMO, but it won't be anything even close to WoW (so worlf of starcraft/diablo) is out of the question. I think it was something more real-life like. Would be very blizzard to take the best from every "RL simulator" game out there and make the perfect MMO about it.

So what i think is that they will either announce this MMO project, or the starcraft 2 / diablo 3.

Personally I think it's starcraft 2, since its the best game in the universe and the rts genre needs a new starcraft

See my post above, it almost certainly won't be an MMO.

With this new evidence from Zacker it seems almost certain the game is Starcraft 2.

What about MMORTS? Blizzard have learned the market is more than ready for MMO's and that this is where the big money is earned. At the same time, it would be dumb to compete with their existing MMORPG and consumerbase. This leads me to believe that some sort of MMORTS would be the wisest choice, at least from a financial point of view.

Actually the website is built by Valve as all that domain contains is a frame with http://www.steampowered.com in it. Regarding the ownership:
