    CS1.6 - http://koti.mbnet.fi/mikeliuz/de_nereza.rar

Every texture is made by me (except those inferno-fences)

Models can be found from thedoenerkings website.

i know... i have to work more with the lighting in the future...

the lighting in nereza should be little yellowish to make it look better... its almost white now

The ligthing is indeed the only comment i can come up with, but alot of cs players like well lit (or ..in other words nearly full bright) maps.

Even on dust alot of players krank up the gamma because there's 'one or two' dark spots in the map, so I think gameplay wise it's not too bad to have such lighting, it just looks uglyish to people who really concentrate on how a map looks, most 1.6 players don't though so i wouldn't worry about it too much.

Pretty nice, but a lot more juice can be squeezed from the engine these days if you really try (detailtextures, more models etc.) It looks quite player-friendly though, that kinda classic (possibly too arena-like) style.

Same comments about the lighting and the grass is a bit 'green' (oversaturated), especially compared to the buildings. Overall nice, but you could do a lot more with it.

weeeeeelli think the grass is too green and the stone trim on the doors looks cartoony.

Also i just noticed, on the last screenshot, you might want to add a trim to where the roof meets the wall, now it looks like some of the roof is stuck in the wall and the first couple of (i don't know how you call them) roof curved stone red things, look a bit off it's not realy common to cut them up to fit like that in real life.

Well, nothing new in my comments really, you could work a bit more with aligning textures to fit better, lighting is little bland too and the green parts are too green. Some vertical depth at the background would make a big difference too.

With some tweaking could look pretty nice

Do you have any podbot waypoints made for this map?

I just rebuilt our clans Ultimate Warcraft 3 mod server last weekend and this would be a nice addition to it if you do have the wpts.

you haven't even given a comment to add in there.

point out the things you like, dont like and propably something about layout and ill propably add it.

EDIT: i "fixed" the lighting. still not looking good IMO. should look better than the old:

edit: okay I just looked at the pics properly, not as bad as I thought but the blurry wood you use on the steps is a bit of a waste of potential detail.

Taking time on things like aligning textures on steps makes a big difference. Typically in HL1 steps are a place you are using up a large amount of the world polies in your scene anyway, so make the most of these small polies and if anything scale down the textures to get some fine detail in there. Ideally get a proper step texture, which shows the 'lip' of the step.

Also just noticed you asked for comments on your site, which by the way, looks very neat and tidy. I like it

    Needs some serious height variation.

    thanks for the comments

I couldnt scale down the stair textures. becouse its not tileable texture and i dont really like seams...

im working on a map that should have a bit more variation in the height.

    i find it kinda hard...
