    Some wips of a Jagdpanther tank im working on (with baked lightmaps). It's on 8600 poly's and i want to use as a prop in a DoD map. Don't have a clue what the map is gonna look like, but i just felt like making a jagdpanther

    looking good. i wish you a lot of fun while texturing and unwrapping this model don't forget the ambient occlusion pass while baking textures

    Whats all this with baked lightmaps? I've been rendering to texture for a long time, peris wrote a tut on it. Or is there anything new and fancy stuff that I haven't catched?

    So basicly it's the same thing? (since I use the skylight render to texture thing during the entire texturing) These Maya people didn't know about it until now?ps overlapping can be done, you just need skills and maybe some paintovers on your lightmap.

    looks promising so far. wip part of the textures look crisp and uv layout seems efficient as well.

    My crit would be to make the skin sharper. It looks sort of vague somehow.
