    examples~!

Only got this pic up atm but everything in this map was done using CB (except for the Q4 specific stuff obviously). It really shines when doing organic stuff (bit of a shameless pimp I'm afraid as I've only got in game shots available).[Blocked Image: http://www.katsbits.com/images/maps/ka…feb07_1_sml.jpg]

    More shots(but of same area)

    Welcome to last year guys

    lol this one is good.

crazybump is a really good tool. the displacement function works quite well.

but i still prefer to edit my diffusemap a bit, making it b/w plus some fiddling around makes it working even better.

CrazyBump > Every other normal-map generating tool in the universe

May or may not be true.

Without a doubt - I always paint my normal details, and often used a very toned down version of the diffuse to add a little noise to the surface - it turns out pretty nice most of the time.

Thats's what happens when you spend 5 seconds on something CB has an interesting array of settings that if you spend time to get to know *do* produce some increadable results. It *is* worth taking a look at if you've not already.

Yeah, .NET software. Gimme a break  One minute or five seconds, doesn't matter.

Yeah, incredible software... Using it for... whaou, 5 days ?

Thanx to Furyo anyway. Doing some test under 3ds, with a diffuse, specular and the generated normal map, looks really great.

yeah its a wonderful app definitely... but for me I get an error that pops up after every use.. so I make one normalmap, error, close, reopen, and continue.

Still worth it for me though.
