    Aw man, was thinking of playing Ultima Underworld just the other day, been wanting to give it a spin again for ages. It's probably one of those games I remember being scared shitless by, and will just laugh it off today. What an amazing game though, way ahead of its time.

    Was gonna post a bunch of Microprose classics but my net is running exhaustingly slow atm :G

    haha yes Ultima Underworld was scary as shit at its time. Don't think due to gfx. It was just that we gamers were used to use a lot more of our own imagination to get immersed by the games.

    Its interesting to see how less has changed in RPG games since then. In the dungeons Oblivion is basicaly the same as Ultima Underworld 15 years ago (except better gfx and sound).

    Both these are sooooo awesome. Proper memories from my childhood. I recommend downloading the new version of Imogen, its still good fun to play even like 20 years on.
