Tell us about your horrible job

    Ok, where should i start.

    I work at "ICA" , Swedens biggest Supermarket.

    Im a cool dude behind the cashregisters that hate the customers. I work the worst hours every. (like, this latest weekend, i worked 14-22 on friday, 15-22 on saturday and 16-22 on sunday). Today my boss told me that this old cranky lady is gonna do surgery to her eyes so i have to cover for her, and work extra. Later today, i was told to work extra for Mikael at work because he is gonna travel to egypt. And i also found out i have to work for another guy named Henrik, because he fucked up his leg or something. And on top of the cream, my silly boss fired 60% of the people workin in the cashier department. So i have to work extra because of that. So i think i have 60 extra hours / week now. Some days i work from 7 in the morning to 10 in the evening. And i also found out i have to work on the "floor" department aswell as the "cashier" department. So besides from sitting behind that stupid fucking cash machine listening to cranky old bitches and stupid immigrants who cant talk swedish i also have to take care and be responsible for the whole store some days now. That means i have to serve the cashiers if they need more change, fix the machines where people return bottles (and those machines whine about something like, 40 times / day). I also have to check the fruit stands, and help people who need more stuff. And finally, i also have to put the new stuff in on the shelves, which takes TIME. TIME i dont really have. Stupid bosses.

    Wanna hear the best damn part? I worked for a year, waiting to get a steady contract, but instead i a extra year of being employed-yet not employed. hard to explain, i also have a low salary (7,5 $ /hour, when i should have 9,5 $ /h).

    My job sucks so hard. I work the craziest times, i can never go out to the pub since i have to work EVERY weekend now. I cant meet friends anymore. My doctor say i have a serious problem with stress.

    I wish i could quit this job. But i cant! Since there are no other jobs to get for me here, and i have to afford food , and pay rent, and etc. So you kids here who are still in school. STUDY GODDAMIT, And get a real job.

    I get to make submarine sandwiches for people. But its all good because I moved up the ranks to the title of manager, so now I get to yell at as many people as I want, for any reason I see fit.

    I also get to take old time themed photographs of people at an amusement park. But thats okay, too, because I'm about two weeks from making manager there, too.

    As well as running a freelance multimedia design company. But my current client is being a huge pain in the ass.

    Working three jobs and going to college full time sucks ass. Not much time for mapping.

    i dont work cause im lazy, though if i did i could get out of 9th period study hall and since i have 8th period lunch i could walk home two periods early (if you have a job you dont HAVE to go to studyhall) im in 4th period studyhall right now so i went to the library and im talking to you fewls, kinda like i did last year in html class

    Well to start off, I work at Quiznos.. the "mmmm... toasty" gourmet submarine sandwich place.. I work close to everyday.. and i used to work friday and saturday nights.. untill i told my manager that if he doesnt change my times.. I will walk away in the middle of a rush and scream. So now i work saturday and sunday mornings. But honestly i meet some of the dumbest, most oblivious people at my job.. One time i gave this chick a free drink and she goes "Are you being rude?" I literally looked around the resturant and started laughing at her. It what really sucks is that everyone loves our subs.. so i never get a break, theres always one person in-line.. always. I wear a stupid hat that spreads my hair making me look like boozo the clown. My collieges are a 26 year old african american man, that stills plays dungeons and dragons.. and doesnt have a licsence. 2 korean owners 1 cant speak english, the other is actually alright. Then the worst.. would be the Spanish people who can not speak a word of english.. the only understand whats on the menu. So when im closing with them.... i cant talk to them I always seem to be trying to start a convo with a customer. But the only good day i have ever had was when Tommyd came in for a visit. He can vouche for me on all of this.

    well thats about it. Someone come here and take me to amsterdam for a month.

    i find that when having a suck job i make it clear that there is to be no conversating ever. all they can do is bring up fucking retarded topics....like how good the weed they had last night was....or how great rap is. i wish sometimes that when i dont like someone or im not in the mood to talk i can put a little sign on me that way people just dont try

    i work as a toilet cleaner for the public beach toilets... only joking me m8 did antill he had to clean out a urinal that got blocked. Thing is he had to unblock it by hand and it was full or sick and piss ) :

    I work in the family music shops selling everything from grand pianos to guitars/drums. Kinda kewl because i get to use the internet (adsl) and work on textures and even map when i have time. Also i can play games when it's not busy.
