I watched Bullet-Proof Monk yesterday, that most definitely goes on the worst pile; but if there was a "Intolerable train-wreck of a film whose atrocious acting, storyline and awful wire work puppet fight scenes fails to even slightly start to possibly entertain you" pile it'd probably go on that instead. And it would rest on the pile as a cheap urn containing the cremated ashes of the cast, writers, director, producers, all copies of the film and the original reel.

gah, 28 days later was awesome for the first 30 minutes or so, it just started sucking really badly when they turned it into a splatter movie, and totally ruined the cool stuff that had been built up in the start of the movie.

o yeah, saw I, Robot the other day, was okay, im just getting tired of these futuristic movies that dont have that much to offer in terms of plots

the movie rocks but that part that theres a gay licking william dafoe is really nasty

humm I agree with mazy, tbh a lot of the newest movies are stupid as hell. They think that nice effects > plot. I really hate movies that dont make u think about or make u feel for someone.

i saw White Chicks yesterday, a spectabular comedy. I give it 4/5 stars, in the cinema evryone was screaming after 30mins and getting hysterious panic attacks. After a while security came in becuz there was so much screaming, they thought it was a riot but it was just me and evryone else trying to get out

    Quote from madcow

dont get me wrong - the village was a good concept, and a good movie (even if some of the actors were very b grade), but the ads made it look like a village that was under attack by some creatures, and that this is what the movie revolved around. it made it look like a thriller movie, and it wasn't.if i had seen it without seeing any trailers, and not expecting a thriller movie - i would probably have enjoyed it more.

I just came home from watching "The village" and I agree with madcow on this one. It is certainly not a bad movie, I think it's good, but it does not give you what you expect to get when you go seeing that movie. You expect a horror movie with lots of shock effects involving evil monsters and a freaky background story, at least that's what you expect from the trailers.

Ok, if anyone has got Shaun of the Dead and I dare say none of you have: The audio commentary is actually worth listening to, unlike every other commentary ever. Very informative but more importantly it’s very funny and it’s proper geek humour; which is probably a bad thing in many respects but it made me laugh. They’re all friends who worked on Spaced which is choc a bloc full of sci-fi and video game references -although never being embarrassing (SotD is actually based on an episode where Tim takes lots of speed and plays resident evil for 2 days until he starts hallucinating and reciting Evil Dead lines). Anyway, they point out lots of gems from Time splitters to urbandictionary.com to star wars collectables and Asian porn, they even refer to one particular blood spray shot as “ooh, she really doesn’t know what to do with that over her face, it’s like bukkake, vampire bukkake” and call lots of people twats for charging them too much to use songs.
