    Finally released my map dm_archt.

It's been finished for some time now, but I haven't gotten the time to release it.

The map has got some minor performance issues, and I haven't got any more time to tweak this map, so if anyone really skilled want to help me with that, then please contact me.

I would like to thank everyone at leveldesign.nu and everyone here at mapcore.net for all the great feedback and constructive criticism.

Great stuff. I like the overall style and the lighting has improved a hell of a lot since the first shots you posted. There is some great brushwork in there too.

I'll add it to our lunchhour HLDM server to check out the gameplay. Nice one.

fine work on the brush and lightning.

should you happen to have an overview?.

and also a few places the textures could use a tweak. like the border in some of the brick arches.

must say i love the first screenshot.. looks abit like one of my experiments from hl1 must be the reason.

    Keep up the good work!

Just a quick question since I can't run the map (offline at home so I can't launch steam, don't have HL2 at work). I downloaded the map here at work and vmex'd it to check that glow effect. I was surprised to see so many sprites, and I was wondering what was the performance hit if any ?

Unless you're at school on something that feels like 56k

But it was well worth the wait

Indeed the brushwork looks stunning here Can't judge the lighting properly on this stone age pc.

Some textures look like thye could be improved, but nothign i could do better, good stuff, i'll download it whne i get home in a couple of hours.

At home i have like 20 or something aswel, at school it's like a 1 gig line ,but everyone's online gaming constantly, lagging everything out hehe.

Had a run round the map, no other players though ,so i couldn't check out the gameplay, but you can run through it fairly easily without hanging behind door frames and stuff like that, had no fps drops on my pc.

And it looked nicer in-game, the textures look much better when you jsut run passed them, since you don't focus on the masmuch in-game as you do with screenshots ofcourse.

It's a nice map and i can't wait to play it with some more players to see if the gameplay adds up to make this a very nice map indeed.

lots of mixed styles in this map.. eg the lockdown bathroom textures don't really fit, i think..

I approve... Its a nice map, that does not play bad when you have a good amount of people on it.

Love how the archs have a solid outline.
