I wonder if they'll have the WTC and we can fly some planes into it - honestly that'd be pretty funny <_<

Lol rockstar is in enough hot water as it is with all the anti-violent videogame freaks out there, if they had the player act out a somewhat-recent terrorist attack on the US, they'd be up to their eyeballs in hatemail and someone would find some legal dirt on them I'm sure. Piss off the wrong people... I wouldn't rule out a physical attack on Rockstar either, some whackjob will probably send them a mailbomb or drive a van full of nitro into the building.

You never know with rockstar though, maybe it'll be the next "hot coffee". "Mile high club"?

Someone in another forum had the idea that it could not just be New York (Liberty City). Like in San Andreas it could be a few more citys with countryside between them (Chicago, Detroit, Washington or Boston for example). Sounds logic to me.

I think Mazy was onto something similar a few posts before yours...

I still think it's gonna be the East coast with a circle forming New York, Chicago and Washington with country sides in between, or something like that.

Well I got the impression Bully was going to be controversial for the sake of it also and, while that’s actually true in some places, for the most part it was, um, un-controversial.

Consoles are mainly where the money is going to come from.

Thanks for the Scans, mazzle. I am disappointed that they can't have planes but it makes sense, I mean the entire game takes place in NYC with little countryside to explore. I am glad to see motorcycles are back. This fall can't come fast enough.

Wasn't extremely stoked just after watching the teaser for the first time, but after reading the article and watching these pics then I've got that old GTA waiting feeling again. The lack of planes is sad but in the end I'd rather trade it for some high detail stuff if its gonna be as awesome as it sounds. Also they aren't excluding choppers, so thats always something .

Here's some good scans by the way

i find the trailer rather underwhelming

the only thing in there that had me giggling was the dude falling into the car smashing its windows

still the game is on my most anticipated list no matter what

That framerate issue really hurts. Looks like it's choking a lot in few cases.

They have some work to do.

It does kind of look like ass in a lot of screenshots, but I guess there're limitations to how nice you can make something look considering how open and populated GTA generally is. Pretty much every 3D GTA game has looked inferior on a macro level to other games of the day. Usually the openness makes up for it.

I don't think San Andreas was shitty, even if it did need better missions. I thought it was really nice going through non-city environments, and small country towns. I'd really like to see more of that here, although I don't think we will.
