Looks beautiful. I'd change the rocks texture though, looks all blurred and... not.. rocklike.

the rocks and the grass under the rocks seem to clash a bit, but since its a WIP its totally allowable. Things change as you continue to rework and refine your levels. The lighting looks top notch for an nice fall day. I demand more!

    yeah that rules for hl.

i really like that metal railing texture, its not like a normal one thats just grey... its got reds and stuff from cars scraping it... someone did texture homework.

Looks nice, but I need more pix to be impressed

    ...

btw, I'm not a fan of that sunflare actually, I mean, it looks good on this shot, but I'm sure it will look gay if u'r near it (like in cs_costabrava). Just my opinion

mroe shots will be posted later on. dont worry.

    i need some help: ,

is there a way to have an entity (like a huge pillar/tower/whatever) to be seen all over the map ? even from one skybox to another.

Looking great! Yes I suppose it's possible. Try combining the entity with other brushbased entities around the map in order to make the engine draw it under all circumstances.

heh yea, that's a way to convert something annoying to a useful feature.

After a certain count of brushes tied together to one entity, it is rendered from every point of your map.

The downside is that this might affect the performance of your map significantly.
