I wanted try making an honest to god rendered scene this weekend so I knocked this out. The title is "Boys, dinner's ready!" Obviously mother is wasting her breath. Clickey for large.

I tried for like 15 minutes to render out a wire but I'm retarded and they make it hard to do in maya. I'll give it another try when it's not so late at night. It's not that impressive as a wire really, a lot of flat surfaces.

really cool although the door looks a little too simple, the edges are too perfect and it's a bit too thick which makes it look fake.

the whole surface of the door is very white and the same color so its very difficult to distinguish how the pattern is made on the door. after looking for a few minutes i realized that it's the edge of a pattern routed into the door, it might be less confusing if instead of the edge being cut into the door the entire shape was, if that makes sense. the lighting would be more recognizable and i think it would make things better :x

Thats really cool zappy The door's texture could use some work imo. It looks a bit too uninteresting (maybe adding some stickers etc would help)

the whole concept of this is really nice and executed very well. The only things that stand out to me is that moon which just feels like its a layer in photoshop and not part of the scene (not that I'm saying you did in in ps... you get what i mean ) The whole thing is excellent though. Nice job.

never seen twin peaks. I know what you mean Meo, the space scene is something I had done earlier for fun in photoshop, and I put it in post.
