    Got two exams next week, so if I feel motivated I might give it a go. I've wanted to try and do a HL mapping contest - probably a quick way to get response to improve maybe?

    Either way I am interested.

    I find custom WADs in HL much easier than making textures in Source. so why use the half life WAD? just copy over a CS WAD and include it in the bsp.

    I have a nice 1v1 DM idea... >

    hamst3r: looks like it could be a pretty fun little arena that you've created. What's that platform / swing / lift thing for? And maybe some border definition between the building and the sand? Kind of looks floating-ish, if you understand where I'm coming from.

    @peri: very interesting. I'd like to see where this is heading

    @kokos: I like the blue and red bits of the lighting, but the yellow lighting should definitely be rethought. It looks too, well, yellow. Perhaps a darker shade, verging on orange, or a lighter one, on the white side. But I like what you've got started.
