Surfed in at Dice's page *note: EA's bitches* and noticed that they had thier new page up. Maybe it's just me but I think its a real dissapointment. The front image over Stockholm looks like something a newbie at photoshop would make and were is the menu?

Some of the photographs of the office was nice, but thats about it.

Not exactly a hard site to find, but links are kinda standard in posts like this, so here you are folks...

    http://www.dice.se/

As for the site, well it is rather underwhelming to be honest. Completely agree with you that the main image is a bit of a joke - not only is it just flat out badly done, but is it really that wise to show things blowing up your home city? Maybe not the most professional image to be putting forward for the company...

Mmyeah. Also, why did they say this?

We make the greatest computer games on the market. In order to do that, we need the greatest talents within a great variety of disciplines. Interested in the gaming industry?

I don't like that kind of smug boasting.

    Edit:

    And there's even more

The best location, the best view, the best space.

Shut up about being best already.

Eh, it's normal in any industry for a company to call themselves the best/premier/ultimate/etc; the only people it generally annoys are their (often smaller) competitors. The site is pretty badly done though.

teddy: have a look at the epic games website or 3drealms, or ... and dice sure has earned a lot of money. the bf series became a little uninspired lately but they sure are still great games. im eager to hear more about bad company.

oh and the view sure is exciting, as is their office.

Oh man I was grumpy this morning... 5:20 in the morning before a final is evidently not a good time for posting on forums

Oh well anyways... nice going for them, and yes - the office is really something special.

What exactly does "You are most welcome to DICE" mean...

I was thinking the same thing - bad translation I guess? To be honest that entire little blurb thing in the top right is rather oddly worded; "in condition of doing so..." isn't a very natural sounding phrase.

Liked the office photos though. We just moved office a few months ago but hot damn, it doesn't look anything like THAT

I was thinking about what I said all night when I couldn't sleep and I've gotta say I was the one with unjustified comments. One of my all time favourite games is actually BF2 and it's pretty incredible that they managed to produce a new element to the series in just one year - you rarely see that happen. And yeah, again, when thinking about it - I've never - ever - seen this kind of interior in Sweden before, so I guess they're right about that part too. I'm pretty ashamed of what I said, it's a pretty great company when you reflect upon it.

    Quote from TeddyBear

I.....it's a pretty great company when you reflect upon it.

Not when it comes to release patches that actually helps you instead of viceversa, or to give away free stuff like others.
