    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome. Spill the beanz plz.

I had so much fun with MP AvP2... and the singleplayer campaign was awesome too - just getting the correct sound for the motion tracker was enough :D

Big hopes for this, n1 GBXers!

We're actually trying to reimagine Aliens as a series. Instead of outer space, you'll be in more of a Black Mesa facility. Instead of a space marine, you'll be a lab scientist. Oh, and there will be flanking. Lots of flanking.

    (That was all sarcasm, btw.)

A quality game studio working on a quality franchise, if only this were far more common. Goodluck guys.

I think he put the I there by mistake.

ZING! Nah, honestly, it's in safe hands at Gearbox, scriptwriting included. Given that Aliens is my favourite film ever, I've got a lot of potential enjoyment staked in this, and I'm hoping it channels AvP 1's moody shit-your-pants terrorvision than AvP 2's fun-but-cartoony romping.

And please make it so that you can play as both alien and marine, in both multi and single player...

They had it in avp2, so theres no reason you guys shouldnt do it!

    NO REASON!

I always much preferred the original avp over the second. The second just sort of felt rather cartoony while the original was just sheer awesome and lighting effects were brilliant for its day. There was nothing better than playing avp1 in multiplayer with some friends as colonial marines trying to fend off waves of aliens in a remote base. Those were the days.

Although I'm not expecting avp3 in anyway, I do hope that it will incorporate / expand on some of the avp games ideas.

Ayes, I think most people here cant help but be a tad jealous. I'd love to work on a game set in the Alien universe.

But it looks like you're pretty busy at the moment, BIA3, Heat and now this. Very exciting stuff ~
