I watched all of those a couple of days ago, and I must say I'm looking forward to this.
For those of you who don't know, HG:London is a MMORPG made by some chaps that left blizzard when they got tired of the same old same old (warcraft and diablo).
I think its weird that they made a sci fi diablo, tho ![]()
Since these guys are the brains behind diablo and starcraft I my guess is that gameplay is fkn awesome ![]()
Looks pretty cool, too bad MMOs are boring, and too time consuming.
are you sure its an mmorpg? i thought it was mainly a singleplayer game like diablo and in multiplayer theres a limit to amount of players etc.
i could be wrong though
I thought it was a FPS/RPG single-player hybrid too?
I thought it was an action game, not online roleplaying shit. ![]()
Its a single player action / FPS RPG, not an MMO. Don't fret. ![]()
BOOOOO!
That trailer is soooooooooooo derivative of Aliens. So derivative I am now assuming the game itself is a piece of junk until I experience actual gameplay that proves otherwise.
Great cinematic, the background story seems interesting.
Sorry that trailer was bordering on unwatchable. Voice acting was atrocious and the dialogue was fucking stupid ("Forrrr the livvving hurrrr!!"). Doesn't bode well for the game.
psh, you're grumpy.
The cinematic was really cool, voice acting was very good, felt like I was watching a large budget movie.
The gameplay videos don't look very good though. I will have to try it out to see for myself though.
Where did you guys get mmorg from lol, its mainly an fps, but similar to ummm, deus ex I would assume by the rpg features in it.

1. Crappy derivative rendered CG cinematic
2. Marginal at best gameplay video
We have a winner!
It's a cinematic (made by Blur) and I would judge it like that. I think it's cool, although the E3 one is better. The little girl in this one looks like she is a demon herself - creepy ![]()
The gameplay footage that was recently released wasn't that impressive though - I agree - but when you think about it, it looks like playing Diablo, just with complete 3D graphics from 3rd or 1st person perspective.
And Diablo was "lots of fun". I think that is Bill Roper's/Flagship's biggest trump. Everyone says "it's the guys who made Diablo, it has to be fun". Well, it remains to be seen if they can live up to it, or if it will turn out to suck ![]()
Cannot wait for this game. I've wanted a 3d Diablo 2 for so long now!
The cinematic movie was pretty cool.

well without saying to much, I can say they did not get tired of more of the same, people got tired of them wasting time and not giving the people what they wanted which was more of the same... I am sure that is reflected by the over 8 million wow customers worldwide and the more then 1.5 million online D2 players worldwide.
While many have stated that this game played much Diablo 2 when they played it at E3, it will be interesting to see what Bill Roper can do without the huge backing of Blizzard.
Yeah okay, but thats hardly part of the point ![]()
A visionary has to follow his own path, not the path is fans wants him to take. or something like that ![]()
And I'm hoping that will reflect in the huge drop of players in those two games you just mentioned when this is released (or a month or so in) ![]()
