I've been putting off buying this game for ages but I finally plucked up the courage and got my dirty mits on it. And I must say it's a pretty damn good game! It's not perfect, but what game is? I just can't help but think of Zelda 64 and Banjo Kazooie when I play this, the music is wonderfully atmospheric, the lighting and graphics are very pretty and the voice acting is great to listen to. It has it's flaws but all in all I find this a very good purchase. Anybody else played the pc version, your thoughts?

I got it for the X-Box when it first came out, then later got it plus the expansion for the PC and played through that. I really love the game, very atmospheric and although incredibly linear for a game of the sort, a lot of fun to play.

I loved it, though the ending pissed me off, it kicks you out the game. I wanted that XP and to continue playing on etc

I loved it up until I stopped playing (college distracted me and I never got back into it), which was just after I beat the arena — how much more game was there after that?

I know a lot of people were disappointed when it came out because of the hype, but since I walk straight through hype and don't let it influence my overall appreciation of a new game I was extremely pleased with how good a game it was. It may not have lived up to Molyneux's traditional hyping, but anyone who says it's a bad game wants lining up and shooting.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH. This one quest has to be possibly the most annoying thing I have ever encountered. You have to rescue the Archaeologist before he's shipped off to prison by the Minions. I've attempted it 3 times now, each time I've been left with one enemy, refusing to die and my time runs out (5 minutes) and I fail the quest and have to start it all over again. I got so pissed off with it I kind of threw my headphones at the desk and broke them. A lot. NGH!

    Apart from that, top dog.

Great game, but I was playing it on my PC and I did about three quests it didnt save my game properly and I didnt feel like doing them again, so I started playing something else. I'll go back to it one of these days, but I did enjoy what I played.
