polygonal modeling into a sculptural program is the way I like. Either way, bump ect is later. Zbrush is a tool, not the rule.

I'd prefer to model it properly for animation, insert it into zbrush, sculpt more details, throw it back into max for proper application.

What an ugly looking mother fucker.

I think he could do with a few more piercings myself. Other than that great ugly head.

WOrked on the sub surface. You can see the light coming through the ears now. I have no color work done on the skin material at the moment. I just started painting the bump map. After I finish the bump Ill start painting the skin and details over that such stuff. I'm thinking of doing a simple rig for the neck and head, and restrictions o nthe eye rotation so that I can do a short animation. Nothing fancy just to give it some life. Critique welcome!

thanks for the kind comments. Working on getting my subtle bump map on the wrinkles and skin effects working well. Still havn't touched color. I wont do color until i'm done. I'm toying with the idea in my head to do something like paint over his face on a side braveheart style. What do you guys think?
