wow, thats cool stuff. I really like all the details and whatnot in it.

When I look at it though.. it seems like the sky is out of perspective with the ground/buildings. To me the sky has a more vertical perspective.

    Nice work

Im not fond of the rain tho, it looks a little fake and the white clouds on the right feel very "this was once white but I scaled down the brightness" like

yeah overall really nice mino, i just agree with hourences thing about the clouds on the right side. Im no fan of those dull contrasted things. perhaps it would work better with darker clouds and if you want a firey feel there perhaps you could try and add that closer to the ground or perhaps get the illusion of low clouds that gets lit from the city fires from below them. Would look really cool, but i think it would be quite hard to do that right.

    good job anyhow

Here's a version with no high contrast, what you guys think ?

It's cool cause it has a more sober tone.

    I prefer the second version.

Also, the crane seems a bit too large.

Look at the plane, it's almost the same size.

very nice but concider the fact that it wouldnt pass as REAL in the backgroudn of a movie or anythign because it has static valutures static rain static smoke and static fire you should make proper matte masks for those areas and add little dynamic layers and than render an avi or something in premiere or something NOW THAT WOULD BE PIMP ^^

The plane is supposed to be just a small executive jet (although I use a 767 photo)

the birds seem a little out of place.

keep them, though; they add to the affect.

either crop the sides off or put some small buildings there, it creates too much dead space and gives it an unbalanced composition

but other than that I like it

    I really like it

It's too monochromatic for my taste though, I'd make something more like this or this, but its a personal preference i suppose.
