    Awesome atmosphere

But all that talk about how amazing the AI is... it was bullshit.

How can you say it's still linear after watching the video?

oh yeah, you can chose wether ot nor to attack a big daddy. yay, innovative. on each situation different options to approach does make a game n wichonliniair.

neither does a big rpg'ish inventory.

doesnt mean it isnt an awesome game nonetheless tho.

cant wait for spore, hl2 ep2, crysis, stalker, duke 4evah, and another from wich i dont remember the name but its about a writer with nightmares.

Again, one of the only games I'm really looking forward to. The entire game just oozes of creativity and style~

    Alan Wake.

Gotta say I am extremely impressed with that, considering I didn't really think much to it in the beginning but this video and the new media has me in awe

I've been a big fan of the style since I first saw screenshots, but this video left me rather underwhelmed. He talks it up like the things he is showing are revolutionary, when they've been done in games (including FPS games) for years. Wow, so you can use some "power" to get an AI to attack another AI? What, you didn't play HL2? Hell, its not exactly distant from leading aliens to soldiers in HL1. Or perhaps using security - you know, that feature used in dozens of games such as Deus Ex or Project Snowblind? Its not like any of the things shown were bad features - but don't talk them up like they're your brand new creations. He says at the start he's redefining the genre and then goes ahead and shows off features used in dozens of its predecessors.

I think it looks like a good game, but sadly I was more excited about it before this video. Still loving the style though

The 20's style is cool but the way that gun constantly moved around in the same weird way while idle was annyoing.

i dunno we watched it at work . everyone seemed to like it but i got bored of it . The new stuff looks pretty cool but the gameplay looks a bit boring . Its almost like an action puzzle solver . *throws green stuff on this guy* runs*

    i dunno

    thats just my opinion
