When i was 8 or something, i was playing WC3 over the Battle.net. There was a Hero called "Sindweller" and i thought that the name is cool, so i made a new B.net account with "Sindwiller". I actually wanted to copy the name, but i had a bad memory there...

    killertomato

Once saw The attack of the Killer Tomatoes with a friend of mine. We were like 13 years old and that movie sucked pretty much. The fact that we were together and had fun stayed in my memory though.

I think that when I was 18, I wanted a nick to use with online play and to mark my maps with. I figured that I didn't want a too complicated name, but also not too simple and certainly not too serious. So somehow stumbled upon 'killertomato' and my descission was made from that moment on. At first it was 'killer tomato' though.

At that time I also played alot of DoD with a friend of mine. He named himself 'killerpotato' when we were pubbing. Those were good times.

ripped straight from my favorite character from my favorite book when I was a young-un

A lot more people started getting it after the movie came out a few years ago.

People often think i choosed my nick after the band but thats wrong. It's named after a (at least in germany) very popular book.

Outside the modding community my nick has meanwhile evolved to Flow Neppets (steppenwolf backwards) since too many people use steppenwolf as their nick.

    Nexus

Well it's not a long story if people belive so..

the name is old and i don't even know what it means but..

there was a time and there was a game called tfc..

    and it still does..

I played tfc and downloaded once a map from internets!! called..

    TFC Nexus..

and there we go the whole story behind my name is a cheap green bricky wall map that sucks. I loved that map.. still do.

with my name.. you don't wanna like.. live more, people are recreating aliases and reenacting profiles all over the world and playing games with my name also spamming & stepping irc channels when they gets banned randomly and all that you know.

    it's true.

Back in the 90's when the word phat (meaning great) was actually used I was getting into online shooters. I always played a sniper role and when TF came out I was on AOL and a 28.8k modem. My ping was usually 800-1000, with the old laggy laser dot scope but I put in a ridiculous amount of hours and learnt to lead targets by 3 seconds to headshot them. Thus, Phatsniper.

I don't actually use the word phat at all and it's not something I'd choose today, but I've had it for 7-8 years and I'm still the only Phatsniper on the internet so it shall stay

slicky was another lame tfc sniper name (evolved out of slick sniper)

nowadays i just use my first name- Zintis, which is funny because it seems more like a made up nick than slicky.

JAL is a combination of the first letters of my full name.

also sometimes I use variations of the name (Jalmari, Jallu etc.)

but really, only CJ knows the secret behind my real name,
