I own only 2 genuine games: Half-Life 2 (because of the sdk and multiplayer mode) and Sim City 4 (because they made some mistake in the store and it was really cheap, like 3 dollars
).
I just can't afford these games (a genuine PS2 game here costs around 130 dollars
) so I pirate them as a form of protest. Same goes for music and software (ffs a 3d studio copy here costs just as much as a cheap PC
).
I don't plan on stopping pirating games unless they start to sell them at realistic prices. It's a cultural thing to be honest. Even our president was found watching a pirated DVD during an official trip to Africa some time ago.
