We are seeking talented gameplay/level designers to work on one of our newest and most ambitious projects - an original game (new IP), on next-gen only and for a major world-wide publisher.

    Core Skill Requirements:

    - Creativity

    - Level triggering (Hammer, Radiant, UnrealEd, etc)

    - Game scripting (Lua, Python, etc)

    - Basic modelling skills (Max, Maya, etc)

    - Strong analytical skills and an understanding of what makes a good (and bad) game.

A more detailed job specification is available on our website http://www.eurocom.co.uk.

    About Eurocom:

Eurocom is one of the world's leading independent games developers and has been around since the early days of console games. Now in our 18th year, we are a successful, growing business with a strong and stable foundation for future development. We have over 200 staff based in our Derby studio, working on multiple projects across Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo platforms, and PC.

We have developed numerous titles to date, such as Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Batman Begins, Sphinx & the Cursed Mummy, James Bond: Nightfire, Robots, Spyro: A Hero's Tail and Athens 2004, and there are many more in the pipeline.

We offer a competitive salary, plus discretionary bonuses, and an attractive benefits package.

We encourage all job applicants to apply online via our website. However, if you are unable to apply online or you prefer not to do so, an application form can be downloaded from our website and completed electronically or by hand and sent by e-mail or post. Alternatively, telephone us on +44 (0)1332 825100 to request a form.

Strictly no agencies or freelancers please.

    James Bond: Nightfire

I thought that was Gearbox, or was there a port you made?

I've never actually read a games industry job description where I've actually thought 'Blimey, I could do that'. I might have to get my arse in gear and apply for this. IT support is, after all, a mugs game.

Edit : they did the console versions of Nightfire, the PC one was made by a different developer.
