    looking good blaz~~~

1 thing tho, the outside shadows look a tad extreme, i'd pitch em up a noch to make it look less shadowy

It looks very nice but the overall look is very greyish. The textures are good but they lack contrast. They need stronger colors, more saturation.

    Here is what I mean.

    After a super color boost

    [Blocked Image: http://www.kolumbus.fi/casimir.tuomi/images/blaz_map.jpg]

...it will feel more natural, look more vibrant and interesting.

Don't be afraid to use more color ~~

Yup, I also think it looks a little too grey and boring right now, at least compared to your previous maps. On the other hand it's still in an early stage, a more colourful lighting would definately improve the atmosphere a lot. Still looking pretty good, it reminds me of the map you were working on with Marcos, what ever happened to that one?

its all 90 degrees. If you took like at least one building and rotated it 45 degrees the atmosphere would improve 10fold. More color and less harsh shadows would also improve your overall look. The textures seem to match where you're going with it so nice job.

Im gonna lower the gamma tho, the shadows are very intense now.

As ferret said, try using other than 90 degree corners and buildings. Would add some variation.

i remember seeing screenz of de_bright and it looked medium, but it was awesome when i played it.

This one looks good so when i play it it must be superb (ö(~

Much better but the different colored wall textures still blend in one another since the saturation is so low. Boost their colors in order to add contrast and it will be sextastic.

Yah I guess ya could use some 90 degree angles here and there to increase the ambience.

Gonna try making it less 90 degreeish now then.

Ill smack in some towers n shit too.
