ive heard alot of random dates n nothing concrete

There hasn't been an official announcement (as far as i know), aside from Doom III multiplayer at Quake Con, and stores have been changing their dates to Aug 3rd. *shrug* nothing official.

ya they've been looking into doing that for awhile, its transfered hands acouple times. Latest rumor is The Rock starring in it lol.

the thing is that i dont really think its possible to make a good doom movie without making it un-doom, i dont really think it would be very interesting as a movie :G

I think it's fair to asume it'll be worth playing simply by the fact "id" will bust out of a rusty sheet of metal 2 seconds after you click the icon.
