I've tried it using just studiomdl.exe, writing my own .qc, and with HL2 Compile Toolkit. I get this error when it tries to compile the mdl:
The procedure entry point CommandLine_Tier0 could not be located in the dynamic link library tier0.dll. I get this error a half dozen times then it gives up. Can anyone help?
i give up. Some, please, compile this crap for me. Please. Before steam ruins all my aspirations to create this map like it has dozens of times before. I'm been tryin to compile this thing for several hours. I have no will left.

I think I get a problem like this too, try running the Model Viewer at the same time and see if that helps. That's what I do and I haven't had the error since.
compile using hl2 or a custom mod and it will work. then just grab your files and put them in your css folder or whatever you need. Its that simple.
Yeah I just created a custom mod to compile with... Haven't tried it yet, i'm too tired to do it right now... tomorrow.
Haven't had any luck with anything. I might try installing sdk on my brother's account and try compiling through that. I could also try on my brother's computer, see if that is any different.
