Great finish to the Germany v Poland match. I thought the Polish keeper was about to have a heart attack in the last few minutes.

The last minutes of the match were really exciting, the goal was overdue imo.

I was quite surprised about Spain's 4:0 against the Ukraine, they barely qualified and start like this, impressive!

Let's see how Ecuador plays today, and of course England vs Trinidad & Tobago as well as Sweden vs Paraguay. Sweden won't have it easy getting to the second round this year.

Yeah and of course i vote for Sweden but i still hope England makes a better match against them then we did. Couse that match sucked.

England only really ignited when Rooney (so good to see him up and about) and Lennon hit the pitch 2nd half. Before that it was snores-ville. Amazing clearance by Terry to save us pre-HT embarassment.

Still, a good goal and a GREAT goal means we can actually afford to take it easy against Sweden. We've just got to stop sitting back and letting the opposition dictate the tempo if we want a chance at the trophy, though,

Swe-Par 1-0 it was a hard match. I thought we would never do it. But in the end we finally got a goal. We had a couple cloose ones before that, but it seemed it was impossible to get that ball in the goal. It was an exciting match though. England next!

yeah I enjoyed that one. I felt bad for Paraguay but Sweden had a lot more close goals and deserved that game.

We seriously got ESPN yesterday and I got to catch the Swe-Para game. I was cheering when they finaly took the goal. Cant' wait for the upcoming England and USA games. Sucks being on the PST with a -3 hour difference from EST with what? another -6 from Europe? Oh well. If only I was 21 and could go to a pub and watch the games. 1 month until I am pub legal. Too bad its AFTER the world cup.

That must be a real downer, Ferret. Watching matches in pubs is pretty damn awesome.
