I didn't see the end of the Sweden and T & T game, when I left it was tied at 0-0, who actaully won?

    tied 0-0.

Ghana was a good game, expected them to atleast tie it or score once with the determination they had, which is something the US appeared to lack.

It looked like the enitre US team died after the Czechs scored the first goal in the 5th minute.

    GERMANY!!!

I was thinking last night that it's strange we don't have a WC thread yet. Well, good that we have one now!

Everyone here in Deutschland is really crazy about the cup, not only the Germans but of course also the fans from all the other countries visiting.

It was actually quite fun to watch the English fans in Frankfurt last Saturday, although everyone was afraid they will start a riot

Czechs really outplayed US. What a great offense they have.

Koller or whatever he is named, he is a huge beast that no one can stop.

Germany had a very entertaining opening match, damn the 1st goal was sick!

anyone saw brazil vs croatia ? what a boring game that was! I fucking hated how Ronaldo was uninterested... We were expecting a lot more from our team tbh. Anyways, croatia is a good team so it's ok I guess.

Enjoying the World Cup so far.

Brazil, as Mino says, were terrible tonight. They deserved to draw at best. Kaka was an absolute shining light, as always, but Adriano was reserved up front and wasn't helped by the fat, useless mockery that is now Ronaldo. He shouldn't even be in the national squad.

Man, surely it's funny to a lot of tongues.

It all comes back to 'poo'. But the kid's anything but!

Seriously, Ronaldo did nothing, he just walked around and immediately lost the ball to Croatia whenever he got it. He didn't even try to get it back

And yes I think he has gained some weight.

On a different note, I thought Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos played a very good game.

Brazil didn't play a very convincing match, I'm curious if the coach will keep Ronaldo in the starting squad. Kinda hard after his match last night and when you have people like Robinho sitting on the bench.

Croatia's defense was ace, but they really didn't know what to do to score a goal.
